A friend and I recently took a vacation to Cancun for dirt cheap through funandsungetaways.com. All for $299.00ttl we had a 6 day/5 night all-inclusive deal. We paid around $70ttl for a shuttle ride from the airport to the resort. (You will have to make other arrangements to get to the airport). The all-inclusive was for food and drink (including most alcoholic beverages). The resort we stayed in was called Villa Del Palmar and the discounted deal for their Cancun resort can be found at cancun5starluxury.com. The only catch is that you have to sit through a 90 min. presentation for a timeshare. We felt no pressure from our rep and sitting through the presentation was well worth the discounted price for all we received.

The staff at the hotel was nice. The grounds were well kept. The rooms and view were very nice. Each rooms balcony was equipped with a relaxing hammock which a nice comforting touch. The private beach also gives you plenty of privacy if that's what you are looking for. The amenities in the hotel were top-notch. There were at least 3 restaurants. Two bars near the pool area for ordering drinks as well as food. Pools were nice. Also, at the Cancun location where we were there was a ferry that boarded passengers to get to the island of Isla Mujeres. It's about $3.50 one way and well worth it. The island of Isla Mujeres is breathtakingly beautiful and a great adventure if you choose to take a got cart ride to get around on the island.

Villa del Palmar is definitely a wonderful resort to experience whether it be at a discounted price or full priced.
